Once Upon a Time in Denver

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago (OK, not really, considering this was only last week/weekend, but we can pretend) a boy and a girl went to Denver. The journey was long, their carriage (a GMC pick-up) broke down, and the poor boy had nowhere to stretch his long legs, but finally, in the early hours of the morning, they reached their destination.
Actually, Brad did find somewhere to stretch his legs: right over mine and his mother's lap. Ha ha. We all shared the back seat on the drive. And despite my amazing ability to fall asleep no matter the circumstance, my back and legs sure did ache after that drive.
We went to Denver, in fact, to go to the National Western Stockshow, where Brad was going to show his heifer. Now, I have no knowledge about these sort of things, but Brad loves them and I'm getting more into them as we go along. And this show in Denver? It is huge. And I mean HUGE. Not only is there the show....
But there are exhibits and vendors everywhere! There was so much to see, I just had to take some pictures. I mean, look at all this stuff! Purses, Cowboy hats, and colorful dangly things!
Giant tractors! And a cowgirl has got to have her glitter!Who knew cowgirls were so glam?!
Not to mention these awesome boots!
These green ones? Yeah, I would so wear those.
And here are some cute pictures of Bradley giving his heifers some quality bonding time... Sweet, huh?
He even let me walk his heifer. I think she liked me; she licked all over my coat.
At one point, Amber and I got a little silly...
And at this awesome restaurant called Ol' Chicago, our waiter gave Brad a whole jug of Mountain Dew, because he couldn't keep refilling his cup fast enough!
We got pretty bored on the way home... Brad got into my bag and put all my hair clips and headbands on!
And he flipped off his sister... And yes, it's funny. :) ha ha
And so, the happy group made the trip home safely and everyone got a lovely shower and a good nights rest.
The End

December and Christmas

As you can tell by these pictures (just a few of the many I took), Christmas was wonderful! Being with my loved ones on the best of holiday of the year was all I wanted and I got it. I also got a load of other things... including a warm new coat from my grandparents, tons of clothes, a new camera from "Santa", and a beautiful jewelry box from my amazing boyfriend, which held some gorgeous jewelry from Hawaii. I am so spoiled. Also, you can see a picture of Brad holding his present from me... :) I loved every minute of the holiday this year and I am just so thankful for my family and friends, for all the blessings I have in this life, for my loving boyfriend, and for the joy and happiness of the best holiday of them all!
